Study Hub Analytics — Launch and Verification
October 19, 2026
- Launched a public Study Hub Analytics dashboard with reporting periods of 7 days, 30 days, and all time.
- Integrated Cloudflare Web Analytics into deployed HTML pages for site traffic reporting.
- Added anonymous exam engagement tracking for Health Assessment Exam 2 Versions 1–8 and Fundamentals Exam 2 Versions 1–8, covering starts, scoring actions, completed attempts, resets, reference opens, and PDF downloads.
- Deployed a Cloudflare Worker and D1 database to collect and aggregate exam events without collecting student identities.
- Configured GitHub Actions to inject tracking into the 16 supported exams and connect the dashboard to the analytics service automatically during deployment.
- Resolved tracking configuration issues and confirmed successful event submissions and dashboard updates.
- Configured score reporting to count completed attempts only after all 50 questions are answered and the exam is scored; mean and median remain hidden until five completed attempts have been recorded for that exam version.
- Next steps: verify full-exam completion and score recording, add collapsible course and exam sections to the dashboard, and extend automatic engagement tracking and categorization to future exams. New exams currently receive page-view analytics, but not automatic detailed exam engagement tracking.
- Testing note: ad blockers may prevent analytics requests. Test scores can be cleared from Cloudflare D1, but aggregate records cannot distinguish test attempts from student attempts, so cleanup must be performed carefully.
